Karlos Williams-RB-Buffalo Bills (41.3%)

Both James Starks and Karlos Williams were great pickups early in the season, but are available again in over half of ESPN leagues.  Starks lost his role back to Lacy and was let go too early while Karlos Williams was dropped since he missed weeks 5-8 with a concussion.

Williams returned in a big way this week against the Dolphins taking nine carries for 110 yards and a pair of touchdowns.  He has found the end zone either rushing or receiving every single game he has played this season, and he should continue to get a solid enough workload for the run-first Bills to keep him as a nice flex option.

Williams has a ton of upside if his workload increases and could be a top ten back if he gets the backfield to himself.  The back ahead of him is LeSean McCoy who was forced to leave Sunday’s game against  Miami with a shoulder injury and he wasn’t able to participate in practice on Monday.  He hasn’t been ruled out for week 10 even though the Bills play Thursday, but his status is still pretty unclear.  If McCoy is out, Williams will be one of the biggest fantasy football waiver wire claims of the season.

The Bills upcoming schedule has some favorable matchups for Williams if he keeps getting carries.  After playing the Jets on Thursday, Buffalo travels to New England and Kansas City before returning home for a game against the Texans.  In the fantasy playoffs (for most leagues), Williams faces the NFC East with games at Phily and Washington while before they host the Cowboys in week 16 and the Jets in week 17.  Williams should be owned in all formats, and he makes sense as a flex play on almost any team even if McCoy is able to play every game the rest of the way.
