Marcus Mariota-QB-Tennessee Titans (37.5 %)

Early in the season, Mariota was a hot pickup from the fantasy football waiver wire and was in my top 10 pickups a few times.  Like Karlos Williams, he missed some time due to an injury and is back available in many leagues. It was a big week for Tennessee as they welcomed back their rookie QB, installed a new coach, and got a huge road win in New Orleans.

Mariota reminded everyone of his upside with a monster game in his return throwing for 371 yards and four touchdowns against New Orleans. One of his scores came in overtime as he connected with Anthony Fasano for a game-winner.  He didn’t turn the ball over although he basically threw an interception that the Saints deflected into a Delanie Walker touchdown.  While the bounces went his way, Mariota definitely upgraded the offense and makes the Titans interesting to watch under interim coach Mike Mularkey.

This week, the Titans host the Panthers in a tough matchup for Mariota before three great matchups against the Raiders and a home-and-home against the Jaguars.  Mariota inserted himself right back into the QB2 discussion and with his upcoming games could be a fringe QB1 consideration.
