Crockett Gillmore-TE-Baltimore Ravens (9.1%)

Joining teammate Kamar Aiken on my pickups from the waiver wire week 10, Crockett Gillmore is the best tight end pickup for the week who is available in more than half of ESPN leagues. Gillmore should get more looks his way after Steve Smith’s injury, and he has been a big part of the Ravens red zone plan in the last few weeks.

Gillmore only had two catches in the Ravens’ win over San Diego before their bye week  but one of them did result in his third touchdown of the season.  He has established himself as a solid receiver with 20 catches on the season for 242 yards despite missing two games with a strained calf.

The Ravens’ upcoming schedule should allow Gillmore to emerge as a fringe TE1 if he continues to get looks from Joe Flacco.  There are other options on the waiver wire who could step up but all have some major question marks.  The reason that I give Gillmore the nod is the opportunity he should have to pick up some of Smith’s targets and the lack of other proven options that Flacco has available.
