37. Sun Devil Stadium (Arizona State)

Built in 1958, there may be no more underrated destination in the Pac-12 than Arizona State’s Sun Devil Stadium in Tempe, Arizona. Every time I see one of Arizona State’s home games broadcasted live in primetime, I always find myself wanting to be there and taking in the atmosphere.

While the weather is always perfect and dry, the Sun Devils have yet to really break out as an elite team even though they are consistently near the top of the Pac-12. Since 1986, Arizona State has won just three conference titles and hasn’t won one since the Pac-12 was called the Pac-10 back in 2007.

Sun Devil Stadium used to be home to the Fiesta Bowl for about 30 years and even hosted two national title games. It’s now home to the Cactus Bowl, which was formerly known as the Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl.

This is one of the only stadiums to see its capacity fall over the years as it has gone from 74,000 in 1991 to about 64,000 in 2015 due to structural issues that forced a decrease in seating in order to increase safety.

Arizona State has one of the better home-field advantages of Pac-12 teams. If only the Sun Devils could translate that into some conference titles.
