31. Spartan Stadium (Michigan State)

Many changes have been made to Spartan Stadium over the years. Michigan State’s recent success on the gridiron has translated to upgrades in terms of locker rooms, additional seating, press boxes, luxury suites, updated and enlarged score and video boards, a new recruiting lounge and upgraded bathrooms around the stadium concourse.

Since Mark Dantonio took over in 2007, Spartan Stadium has been packed to the brim on Saturdays. A once desolate ground where mediocre football took place from 2001-07, Spartan Stadium is now one of the best home-field advantages in all of college football.

In fact, since the start of 2007, the Spartans are 51-12 in East Lansing including a couple of legendary finishes such as a walk-off win over in-state rival Michigan in 2009, a fake field goal for a touchdown against Notre Dame to win in 2010 and a Kirk Cousins Hail Mary victory over Wisconsin in 2011.

Heck, Michigan State is 19-1 at home since 2012 and the atmosphere in the student section has received a ton of ridicule over the years, but it has been getting better each season.

Home to 75,000 diehard green and white fans, Spartan Stadium can get pretty loud, especially with the iconic “Go Green, Go White” chant that can be heard across campus.
