Cole Beasley-Dallas Cowboys

Matt Cassel’s time at quarterback for the Cowboys hasn’t been one filled with positive memories for Dallas fans or anyone who has tried to get fantasy football production from the team.  The one notable exception to that rule is Cole Beasley.

Beasley showed an impressive connection with Cassel last week finishing with nine catches for 112 yards and two touchdowns against the Eagles on Sunday night.  Beasley was targeted 11 times which was three times more than both Dez Bryant and Jason Witten.  The two trips to the end zone were the first for Beasley this season, and he had been held catchless the two previous games against the Seahawks and Giants.

I don’t see Beasley getting anywhere near his totals for last week, but he still has plenty upside as the 2-6 Cowboys travel to Tampa to take on the 3-5 Bucs. He defines boom-or-bust play with his production the last few weeks, but he’s extremely available (over 90% of ESPN leagues) and affordable (3,000 on DraftKings) if you need a wide receiver flier for this week.  I wouldn’t play him on FanDuel where he’s overpriced, but as a end-of-your roster flier he packs enough boom to consider.
