Kamar Aiken-WR-Baltimore Ravens (45.8%))

He’s been on my top ten targets list the last two weeks, but for the waiver wire week 11 Kamar Aiken rises to the top spot.  Aiken is the #1 receiver on the Ravens after Baltimore lost Steve Smith for the season with an Achilles’ tear.

Aiken hasn’t ever served as the top receiver for an NFL team and wasn’t even projected to be a starter this season before an injury to rookie Breshad Perriman.  Aiken stepped in across from Smith and had a few good games, but looks like he’s ready to take it to the next level as he becomes the top receiving option for QB Joe Flacco.

In week 10, the Ravens suffered a heart-breaking loss to Jacksonville.  Aiken led the Ravens with 14 targets and hauled in seven passes for 73 yards.  He has a total of 13 catches in the last two weeks and will continue to be the team’s possession receiver who will get plenty of receptions in the coming weeks.

In week 11, Aiken and the Ravens host the Rams before traveling to Cleveland and Miami in the coming two weeks. With those three favorable matchups, Aiken can be a big part of powering your team to the fantasy playoffs especially in PPR leagues. Aiken should be owned in all formats and will be a solid WR3 with plenty of upside going forward.
