Danny Amendola-WR-New England Patriots (21.6%)

Julian Edelman’s injury has left many fantasy owners scrambling for a solution, and Edelman’s fill-in for the Patriots is an option to target you can’t get Aiken.  With Edelman sidelined for the coming weeks, Amendola will step into his slot receiver role and get plenty of targets from Tom Brady in the Patriots elite-level offense.

Amendola stepped up for New England with a big game against the Giants finishing with a dynamite punt return where only his own player could stop him as well as ten catches for 79 yards on 11 targets.  Amendola will be the second option in the Patriots’ passing attack behind Rob Gronkowski for the next few weeks.

Amendola has a ton of upside, but he is an injury risk himself and has been inconsistent at times during his tenure with the Patriots.  If Aiken is gone, Amendola is the next option to look for as the Patriots try to stay undefeated in the coming weeks against the Bills, Broncos, Eagles, and Texans.
