Did Antonio Gates threaten to beat Philip Rivers’ ass? (Video)

Antonio Gates seemed to have some not so nice words for quarterback Philip Rivers on Sunday afternoon against the Chiefs.
To say it’s been a rough year for the San Diego Chargers is to severely understate how lame things are right now. They have a team that could be in contention in the AFC but injuries have ravaged the team and destroyed what hope they have of making a run in their conference.
It seems that tensions might be bubbling over, as Antonio Gates wasn’t too pleased with the way things have been going and let his frustrations be known on the sideline in front of CBS cameras.
Watch as Philip Rivers seems to be on the receiving end of a not so nice threat by Antonio Gates:
This isn’t what the Chargers or their fans want to see. Rivers just inked a huge extension to remain with the team — possibly through a move to Los Angles in a few years time.
It’s also very possible that Gates is just venting, as he calms down a little when Rivers approached him with open arms. That being said, the Chargers are a dumpster fire this year and things are more than likely going to get worse before it gets any better.
