Tony Romo’s pre-game speech the night before the Cowboys took on the Dolphins gave Dez Bryant chills.

Sunday saw the triumphant return of Tony Romo as quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys as his leadership and passing yards equalled a much-needed win for the Cowboys. Earlier Saturday night before kickoff, an impassioned Tony Romo stood in front of his teammates and gave a rousing speech that even got one Dez Bryant to have chills in reaction.

According to Sports Day, Tony Romo did reveal how his team inspired him despite returning to a Cowboys team close to being decimated with a 0-7 losing streak.

"“Our football team never let up,” Romo said. “The tough part is when that doesn’t produce results because then it gets tougher each time. The fact that they have committed to this and just getting better, and then let the results happen later, has just been a great thing to see.”"

According to Wide Reciever Terrance Williams it seems the entire theme of the speech was that everyone on the team needed to be on the same page, and it looks like it worked out in the end.

In total, Romo passed for 227 yards going 18 for 28 that resulted in two touchdowns despite having two interceptions.

Earlier this September, Romo suffered a broken left collarbone when the Cowboys faced off against the Eagles. Initially given eight weeks to recover, Romo improved faster than was initially thought and returned to game play shortly after.

Sunday’s win technically puts the Cowboys back in the race for a Superbowl Championship. The Dallas Cowboys face off against the Carolina Panthers on Thanksgiving day.
