WR Sleepers

James Jones-Green Bay Packers: Jones didn’t have a catch last week and hadn’t had more than two receptions since week 4.  He turned things around in a big way on Sunday against the Vikings, though, finishing with 109 yards and a touchdown on six catches.

J.J. Nelson-Arizona Cardinals: Nelson stepped in for an ailing Michael Floyd with a monster game last night against the Bengals.  He finished the game with 142 yards and a touchdown on four catches.  His value going forward is tricky to predict since he’ll be the fourth WR when all Arizona’s receivers are healthy, but when he’s on the field he has shown he can produce.

Tyler Lockett-Seattle Seahawks: Lockett has had sleeper potential all season and is a huge playmaker when he gets the ball in his hands.  He scored a pair of touchdowns on Sunday against San Francisco catching four passes for 48 yards.

Terrance Williams-Dallas Cowboys: Williams and the Cowboys offense can now return to fantasy football relevancy now that Tony Romo is back under center for Dallas.  Williams caught four catches for 79 yards and a touchdown.

Devin Funchess-Carolina Panthers: Funchess was a sleeper pick who came through in his first NFL start catching one of Cam’s five touchdown passes while finishing with four catches for a total of 64 yards.

Marquess Wilson-Chicago Bears: Another of my wide receiver sleepers who came through for fantasy owners today was Marquess Wilson who was thrust into the #1 WR spot for the Bears with Alshon Jeffery and Eddie Royal out.  Wilson stepped up with 102 yards on four catches, and he’ll be worth a look whenever he serves as the top receiving option for Chicago.
