1. Only nine teams have winning records so far this season

Only nine of the 32 NFL teams have winning records through Week 11. That is less than a third of the league (28%). Last season, there were 18 teams with winning records after Week 12. In 2014, 18 teams had winning records after Week 11. In 2013 there were 14 and in 2011 there were 15. 2011 had 17 teams with winning records going into Week 12.

The teams with winning records through Week 11 are the New England Patriots, Cincinnati Bengals, Pittsburgh Steelers, Denver Broncos, Green Bay Packers, Minnesota Vikings, Carolina Panthers, Atlanta Falcons, and Arizona Cardinals.

Eight of the teams with non-winning records are spread out over two divisions. Shockingly neither the AFC South or the NFC East has a single team with a mark above .500. Between those two divisions there are three teams with even records. Across the rest of the league there are eight teams with even records.

So far, though, most teams aren’t winners in 2015.  The Philadelphia Eagles, Seattle Seahawks, and Dallas Cowboys have done far worse than projected. A few teams, however, have played surprisingly well, most notably the Carolina Panthers, one of only two teams still undefeated.
