Luke Kuechly gets pick-six off Tony Romo (Video)
Luke Kuechly picked off Tony Romo. Cowboys fans are not pleased.
The Dallas Cowboys are 3-7 and desperately have to win on Thanksgiving against the Carolina Panthers at AT&T Stadium. Unfortunately for the fans of America’s Team, quarterback Tony Romo is not helping the cause.
After throwing a pick-six to defensive back Kurt Coleman on Dallas’ first offensive series of the game, Romo doubled down in true gunslinger fashion and fired another one in the second quarter, this time to All-Pro inside linebacker Luke Kuechly.
Kuechly’s score put the game at 20-3 and perhaps out of reach for a Cowboys team that looks completely overmatched on the national stage. There was a line of thought that Dallas could be a dangerous team with Romo back in business, but that has not been the case to this point.
Should the Cowboys fall in this game and go to 3-8, it would appear that any postseason opes have vanished. While the NFC East is a complete and total dumpster fire, it is going to be rough to win eight games. Then you factor in that the Cowboys still have a trip to Lambeau Field, and you realize that a winning season will be a pipe dream at best.
