Watch Luke Kuechly pick off Tony Romo on consecutive plays (Video)

Tony Romo is getting in the Thanksgiving spirit on Thursday by handing out gifts to Luke Kuechly

It was not supposed to be like this. When Tony Romo returned last week for the Dallas Cowboys, the embarrassment was supposed to be over and the team was going to make a run at the mediocre NFC East. Well, apparently, someone forgot to tell Carolina Panthers stud linebacker Luke Kuechly all of this.

As the second game of the day here on Thanksgiving the Cowboys are playing host to the Panthers and, well, needless to say things are not going all that swimmingly in the first half. Actually, it’s kind of a disaster, and a lot of that has to do with the fact that Romo is having a bit of a turnover problem, a problem that Kuechly is taking full advantage of.

In the second quarter, it all started when Romo threw his second pick-six of the day, this one to Kuechly.

OK, yeah, that was bad. But it’s all right, just regroup if you’re Romo, right? Yeah, well, then this immediately happened.

Yes, that is Kuechly making life a nightmare for Romo and the Cowboys in the first half so quickly that if you blinked, you might have missed it.
