The St.Louis Rams headed to Cincinnati to face the Bengals, a club that had lost two straight games. The Rams were also looking to end their own losing streak but a win wasn’t in the cards for the NFC West team.

Not only did the Rams lose, they were blown out by the Bengals. The Rams lone touchdown came after a 60-yard run from Tavon Austin got them within striking distance.

Austin finished the day as the Rams’ leading rusher with 63 yards off of 4 carries, and it bears repeating that Austin is a wide receiver. Todd Gurley, who has been dominant as of late, had nine carries for just 19 yards on the day.

Quarterback Nick Foles hurt his team with turnovers, throwing three interceptions. One of which was returned by Leon Hall for a touchdown.

The Rams defense also poorly defended Bengals wide receiver A.J. Green, arguably one of the best at the position in the league. Green was wide open on a 10-yard touchdown reception early in the game.

The Rams host the Arizona Cardinals next week and it is hard to imagine them beating their NFC West rivals to end the streak.
