The Dolphins fired their offensive coordinator on Monday replacing Bill Lazor with interim coordinator Zac Taylor.  Taylor is totally committed to establishing the run, and Ajayi will get lots of work along with Lamar Miller in the coming weeks.

Last week, Miller ran for just two yards on five carries, and if he continues to struggle it wouldn’t surprise me if Ajayi ends up as the lead back by the end of the season.  Even as a change-of-pace back, Ajayi should be added in most formats.  Last week, he led the team with six yards on three carries, but he really shone in the team’s passing game catching four passes for 52 yards.

This week, the Dolphins face the stout Ravens rush defense, so Ajayi will be a stretch as a flex play in standard leagues.  However, his potential to break out and shine coming down the stretch is definitely real, and the fifth-round pick out of Boise State should be stashed if at all possible.
