Four rounds before Miami grabbed Ajayi, they used the 14th overall selection in the 2015 draft to take DeVante Parker out of Louisville.  Parker got off to a slow start to the season due to injury and the many different options the Dolphins had at WR.

Rishard Matthews emerged as the #2 option in the receiving game behind Jarvis Landry early in the year, but Matthews suffered multiple broken ribs and will be sidelined indefinitely. In relief of Matthews on Sunday, Parker had the best game of his rookie season catching four passes for 80 yards and a touchdown. Sure, the touchdown came in garbage time, but it was still an impressive hustle play from the rookie.

The Dolphins would be wise to figure out what they have in Parker in the rest of the season.  Look for him to be increasingly involved in the coming weeks as the Dolphins adjust to new offensive coordinator Zac Taylor.  Next week, Parker and the Dolphins take on the Ravens before facing the Giants, Chargers, and Colts in favorable matchups coming down the stretch.
