What an epic disaster of a season for the Indianapolis Colts. They’ve been playing with house money and living off borrowed time; it all came crashing down in 2015. Signing old skill players and not bolstering a Swiss cheese offensive line damn near got Andrew Luck killed, and at the very least hampered his growth.

Given Ryan Grigson’s track record, there’s little reason for Colts fans to feel optimistic about this draft. At this point he’s Matt Millen 2.0. Hope for the best, expect the worst.

A’Shawn Robinson out of Alabama is a mountain of a man, and will plug up the defensive line.

At 6’4″ and 320 pounds, Robinson will become an immediate run stopper for a team desperately needing big bodies on the line, and plopping him in the middle will definitely give offensive line coaches a greater task when scheming.

Robinson is the anchor of a stout Alabama run defense that allows only peanuts per game. He’s a giant in the trenches who has surprisingly nimble feet. Drafting Robinson is adding a guy who can be a 10-year veteran with model consistency. He’s a real plug-and-play individual whose game and frame have shades of Vince Wilfork.
