The Houston Rockets are struggling on the court this year, so have decided a new method to help them win.

The Rockets have not performed up to expectations this season with just seven wins on the year. For a team that’s struggling and just fired its head coach, desperate times call for desperate measures.

On Wednesday in a home game against the New Orleans Pelicans, Houston used an interesting method to try to pull out a victory.

Leading in the third quarter, things got interesting when superstar Anthony Davis headed to the line to shoot free throws. Instead of the usual waving of hands, thundersticks, or signs, the Rockets employed a more creative tactic.

A shirtless fat guy dancing and shaking his backside.

Although the plan didn’t work, as Davis calmly swished the shot, the move by the Rockets is hilarious.

A closer look at the dancing wonder shows that he has “miss it” written on his chest and The Distraction” plastered across the back of his shorts.

While this makes for a great laugh, hopefully it’s not a trend that catches on to other NBA teams. Who knows though, if Houston hangs on to win the game, it’s hard to tell what we will see dancing on the baseline in the future.
