Eric Ebron put the Detroit Lions up 10-0 over the Green Bay Packers.

The Detroit Lions began the season 1-7 and looked like one of the worst teams in the National Football League. Suddenly, they have won three straight games and are already leading by three scores over the hapless Green Bay Packers, who have lost four of five.

Already leading 3-0, the Lions drove inside Green Bay’s red zone and then Matthew Stafford found tight end Eric Ebron for one of the easiest scores you will ever see.

Detroit is hoping to run the table and get to 9-7 on the season, perhaps giving it a chance to make the postseason for the second time in as many years. Meanwhile, Green Bay just wants to win a game again. The Packers are 7-4 and already lost to Detroit at Lambeau Field, the first time that has happened since 1991. Back then, Don Majkowski was playing quarterback for the Packers and Brett Favre was a rookie in Atlanta.

Should the Lions be able to beat Green Bay, Detroit would only be two games behind it with the tiebreaker in hand after winning both contests.
