3. Miami Dolphins

It’s not a huge secret by this point that the Miami Dolphins aren’t a particularly great football team in 2015. Likewise, their opponents that will be making their way to Sun Life Stadium on Sunday afternoon in the Baltimore Ravens have been less than impressive as a whole this season. Still, the Dolphins are coming into this game as the 2.5-point favorites in terms of the point spread. Call me crazy, but I see this game as one that the Ravens should very well be in the driver’s seat on the road.

For one, I’m a big proponent for game-to-game momentum in the NFL and there’s no question that Baltimore has to be feeling incredible after their last-second win over the Browns that saw them take a blocked field goal to the house as time expired. Though that play to win in Week 12 wont’ have immediate effects on the scoreboard in this game, coming off of a victory in a game like that is fantastic for building confidence and fantastic for getting any kind of palpable momentum on a team’s side.

In terms of the actual football, though, it’s hard to believe in the Dolphins to do much of anything on either side of the ball against Baltimore. The play-calling has been incredible suspect all season and Ryan Tannehill and Lamar Miller have both failed to live up to the billing they had coming into 2015 as a whole. The Ravens’ defense is suspect, but I like the offense to prevail, at least in this matchup.
