DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy hockey lineup- December 6
High Salary G
Corey Crawford-Chicago Blackhawks ($8,000): Crawford, playing in one of the two early games today, has to be the best play on the board. He’s been off since Thursday, which could help since he’s been struggling as of late. He’s lost three times in his last five games. However, today is a great matchup at home against the Jets and it’s a great opportunity to bounce back. Crawford is normally steady and will be worth the price today.
Roberto Luongo-Florida Panthers ($7,800): Luongo comes into tonight’s matchup at New Jersey well-rested and riding a four-game win streak. His last start was Tuesday against Nashville, a game in which he only allowed one goal. Luongo has had a resurgence down in Florida and is once again a top goalie option. He’s 10-8 so far not he season and has a save percentage of .928. Roll with him tonight and expect good things.
High Value G
Jeff Zatkoff-Pittsburgh Penguins ($7,500): Goalie salaries in daily fantasy hockey are usually pretty similar, except for the very top guys. Zatkoff, though a backup, still carries a price tag that’s close to that of a starters. The Penguins played Saturday in LA and Marc-Andre Fleury struggled, giving up four goals in the loss. Zatkoff is the likely starter Sunday and has a better matchup against the Anaheim Ducks. He’s only appeared in four games so far this year, but is 2-1-1 on the season. Check just to be sure, but he should be the one between the pipes with a talented team in front of him and should end up an excellent play at the goalie position tonight.
Jhonas Enroth-Los Angeles Kings ($7,200): Enroth, like Zatkoff, is a bit of a speculative play today. He’s not guaranteed to start tonight against Tampa Bay, but there’s a good chance he will. Jonathan Quick was in-goal Saturday and has appeared in six-straight games. Enroth has a record of 3-1 this year with a GAA of just 1.2. Check his status closer to the start of the game, but if he’s in there, he makes for a sneaky play against a Tampa Bay team that ranks just 25th in goals scored per game.
