Right Wings

This is where you select your complimentary players depending on who you picked at center and left wing. Should you choose to deviate from my strategy, don’t worry. You still have two strong options in Matt Duchene and James Neal. Duchene averages 3.4 fantasy hockey points per game and costs $8,900. Neal is the better value of the two. He averages 3.7 fantasy hockey points and costs $6,300. Neal is more of a swing or miss player. He’ll either do really well or he’s going to disappoint you. There isn’t too much middle ground with Neal. The Predators’ top line is cold right now, so I’d avoid Neal despite the tempting price.

If you chose the Sedins, you’ll want to pick Jannik Hansen, the right wing who completes the Canucks first line trio. Hansen has phenomenal chemistry with the Sedins. Must be nice to play with two future Hall of Famers. He averages 2.6 fantasy hockey points per game and costs $5,500. He’s worth starting because of the Sedins and the goalie matchup.

Loui Eriksson is definitely worth starting and is a consistent bargain on FanDuel. He averages 3.3 fantasy points per game (third among all right wings playing on Monday) and costs $5,200. Also worth considering is Jason Pominville of the Minnesota Wild. He averages 2.6 fantasy points per game and costs $6,400.

DAILY PICKS: Go with Hansen and Eriksson. Can’t go wrong with choosing one of the more expensive options, but you might have to adjust your fantasy hockey lineup.
