High Salary G

Corey Crawford-Chicago Blackhawks ($7,700): Crawford is the confirmed starter in net tonight for Chicago’s home tilt with Nashville. He’s a steady goaltender who can sometimes be overlooked since he’s not quite as flashy as some others. He has 12 wins on the season and was brilliant in a 30-stop victory over Winnipeg on Sunday. Tonight’s opponent doesn’t set the net on fire and doesn’t provide a whole lot in terms of offense. If you’ve reached for value at other positions tonight then you will be able to take advantage of Crawford’s situation this evening.

Cory Schneider-New Jersey Devils ($7,400): Schneider is one of the more desirable plays on the board tonight. His salary is a bit lower than the top goaltenders and he is facing the Toronto Maple Leafs, one of the lowest-scoring teams in the league. Schneider was sharp on Sunday night in a win over Florida and should do fine tonight.

High Value G

Martin Jones-San Jose Sharks ($7,100): Martin Jones has made the most of his first season as the starter in San Jose, compiling a record of 12-8-0 with a GAA of 2.2. He was given the night off on Saturday and should be ready to go tonight against Calgary. It’s no secret the the Flames are last in the league in scoring, making this a great spot for Jones. He’s struggled a bit as of late but will have a good chance to right the ship tonight.

Thomas Greiss-New York Islanders ($7,100): You’ll have to check closer to puck drop to see who New York’s confirmed starter is tonight, but there’s a good chance it’s going to be Thomas Greiss. Listed as the backup, he has made nearly as many starts as starter Jaroslav Halak this season and has been much sharper, putting up a record of 8-3-2. He’s won his last three starts and has a great chance to make it four against a Philadelphia team that’s weak on offense. If Greiss gets the nod tonight he needs to be in your lineup.
