1. Luke Walton

After the success of the Golden State Warriors this season, everyone is going to be after Luke Walton as the next head coach of their franchise. He’s young, has shown he can make great rotations and has the respect of everyone in the league.

There’s no doubt about it, he has the potential to be the next great head coach in this league. If there’s anyone that can get Luke Walton, it’s the Los Angeles Lakers, as they should have the inside track as Walton won multiple championships with team and he spent the majority of his career there.

If there’s one coaching move that the fans would get behind, it’s Walton. His interim job with the Warriors would have everyone immediately backing and trusting him, and he might be able to use that experience and his experience as a player to bring in some talent to the Lakers via trade and free agency.

He’d also be a great coach for the young players on the roster, as he would actually play them and not let them waste away on the bench.

Steve Kerr’s back injury might be the best thing that has ever happened to Luke Walton, because he has taken the reigns and gone out and proved he should be a head coach in this league.

He’s getting a job next season. If the Lakers are smart, they will go get him.
