3. New York Jets

Outside of Brandon Marshall and Eric Decker, there really hasn’t been anything to get excited about as of late regarding the New York Jets. While the team has managed to stay playoff relevant by scraping out wins, they’re a team dealing with a number of injuries on the defensive side of the ball and a team that is capable of laying a dud on the offensive end in any given matchup. Thus, there’s reason to be apprehensive coming into their Week 14 matchup against the Tennessee Titans.

While the Titans defense hasn’t given many reasons to have confidence in their defense, but that’s one of the reasons why this matchup is so intriguing. When the Jets and Ryan Fitzpatrick are going to be bad, they could be going up against a peewee football team and still manage to find a way to shoot themselves in the foot. The Titans, for their problems on that side of the ball, are better than a peewee squad.

What’s more important, though, is that the Titans offense looked arguably the best that they have all season just last week. It looks like Marcus Mariota is being let off the leash, especially in terms of using his legs as a weapon, While Tennessee has not shown much (if any) consistency this season on either side of the ball, you have to like what Mariota and the offense showed last week coming into a matchup against a banged up defense.
