2. Green Bay Packers

The Green Bay Packers have to be riding high after they escaped their matchup last week on Thursday Night Football with a victory thanks to a highly improbable Aaron Rodgers Hail Mary as time expired to get the victory. Moreoever, they have a Week 14 matchup against a Dallas Cowboys team that is back to having Matt Cassel at quarterback and looks far from anything to be worried about. However, there’s a scenario where they Packers should be at least a bit concerned.

For one, the Green Bay rushing defense has been in the bottom-third of the league for most of the season. Considering the injury to Tony Romo and the fact that Cassel is starting, you have to assume that the Dallas offense is going to continue feeding Darren McFadden in the rushing game. While the offense needs to have balance, DMC should be able to have success behind the Cowboys offensive line against a lackluster run defense.

Moreover, the Packers have shown the propensity to play down to their competition as of late. We saw it on Thanksgiving and we saw it this past Thursday when they needed the Hail Mary to pick up the victory. It may seem more than a bit unlikely, but I think that the Cowboys have a viable shot of knocking off Green Bay this week.
