High Salary Wingers

Patrick Kane-Chicago Blackhawks ($8,800): Patrick Kane, enough said. Kane kept his streak alive with a goal on Friday night and now has points in 25 straight games. He’s playing fantastic hockey and has a total of 45 points in just 30 games. Fantasy owners who have chosen to spend on Kane have been well-rewarded with his average of 5.6 fantasy points a game. There’s plenty of value available tonight, so spend on Kane. Just be aware that he will likely carry a very high ownership percentage.

Vladimir Tarasenko-St. Louis Blues ($7,700): Selecting Tarasenko tonight will save you over $1,000 dollars is you choose to trust him over Kane. The Blues have a favorable matchup with Colorado tonight, a team ranked 24th against opposing right wingers. Aside from Kane, Tarasenko is a top winger target. On Saturday he scored a goal and now has six points in his last seven games.

Alexander Steen-St. Louis Blues ($6,900): Steen is once again a top target among the high-priced wingers. He’s been hot as of late with points in six of his last eight games and kept it going Saturday night with an assist against Dallas. Steen carries his four-game point streak into a match with Colorado tonight. Deploy him as you normally would and enjoy the points.

High Value Wingers

Mike Cammalleri-New Jersey Devils ($5,600): The veteran winger is having a very productive season and is still set at a value price for fantasy hockey. He’s put up 11 goals and 19 assists through 29 games and although he’s gone pointless the last two games, he had three monster games in a row in which he recorded a total of seven points. Cammalleri is a great value play tonight.

Marian Hossa-Chicago Blackhawks ($5,200): Hossa has been overlooked this year thanks to the stellar play of fellow winger Patrick Kane. Hossa is not as productive as he used to be, but he can still be very useful in fantasy hockey. He’s priced right and gets a good matchup with Vancouver. He’s been quiet as of late and only has 13 total points. However, he picked up an assist Friday and earned fantasy owners 4.5 points.
