High Salary Goalies

Corey Crawford-Chicago Blackhawks ($7,900): Easily the most expensive netminder on the board tonight, Crawford needs to be considered as the goalie for your fantasy team. Chicago is one of the top teams in the league and Crawford is a huge reason for that. He has put up 14 wins this year and is currently in a streak of three wins in a row. He was fantastic Friday night in the shutout of Winnipeg and earned 10 fantasy points for his owners. As long as Crawford is the one between the pipes he needs to be in your lineup.

Cory Schneider-New Jersey Devils ($7,600): Schneider is the confirmed starter for today’s game and he’ll be looking for a second straight win. In his last three games he’s 2-0-1 with a GAA of 1.90 and a .941 save percentage. However, Sunday’s opponent, the New York Islanders, have won two straight and can be a tough out. With that said, Schneider has been hot and deserves consideration for your lineup.

High Value Goalies

Brian Elliott-St. Louis Blues ($7,400): Check the status of Elliott before puck drop but he should be the one protecting the net tonight after Jake Allen got the nod Saturday night. Elliott has not been sharp this season and gave up three goals in his most recent start on Friday. Tonight’s matchup with Colorado looks good on paper, as St. Louis is clearly the better team, but Elliott needs to be better than he has. If he gets the start he could be a good play.

Thomas Greiss-New York Islanders ($7,200): With New York playing for the second night in a row Greiss should be the on in net tonight. Halak started Saturday night and Greiss hasn’t played since a strong performance on December 4. In that game he saved 31 shots against the Blues and picked up his third win in a row. He’ll look to make it four tonight versus New Jersey. If he starts he will be a solid play for your lineup.
