PF—Kenneth Faried ($6,400)

Nuggets forward Kenneth Faried is another player that I think has the potential to have a really big game on Monday night. He’s struggled with injuries for much of the young season, but he’s healthy now and has been performing quite well as of late for the Nuggets. With them already short-handed, he could play an even more prominent role.

Faried has scored more than 26 fantasy points in each of the last three games that he’s played and has increased his DFS output in each of those three games. Moreover, he went for 31.4 points in his last outing against the Timberwolves on Friday. He has the ability to gobble up rebounds and even score a ton if the matchup is right.

The good thing about Faried is that the matchup is unquestionably right. The Rockets have been one of the worst teams in the league at defending power forwards, allowing opposing teams power forwards to combine for over 50 points per game at the second worst rate in the league. Moreover, the Rockets like to push the pace and make the game faster, which actually plays right into Faried’s strengths. All of this makes it seem like the Nuggets forward is in line for a huge game against Houston.
