RB Duds

Thomas Rawls-Seattle Seahawks: The big loss of the week at running back was Thomas Rawls who looked good running for 44 yards on his first six carries of the game.  The problem was that his sixth carry on Sunday will be his last of the season after the promising rookie rusher broke his ankle.

Devonta Freeman-Atlanta Falcons: Remember way back to when the Falcons were rolling and Freeman was carrying teams to fantasy wins? That time wasn’t fantasy football week 14 as Freeman totaled just 40 yards on his twelve carries and added 22 yards on three catches while also losing a fumble in the Falcons 38-0 blowout loss in Carolina.

Latavius Murray-Oakland Raiders: Murray had a rough matchup against the Broncos and failed to produce even though the Raiders won.  Murray only managed 27 yards on his 16 carries and failed to catch his one target.

DeMarco Murray-Philadelphia Eagles: Yes, he wasn’t the main workhorse back, but he did still get 11 carries.  The main problem for Murray wasn’t his demotion but his ineffectiveness totaling just 34 yards on the ground and three yards on two catches.

Ryan Mathews-Philadelphia Eagles: Mathews reportedly passed Murray on the depth chart, but he also struggled this week totaling just 38 yards on 13 carries while adding two catches for four yards.

Javorius Allen-Baltimore Ravens: Allen had a huge game last week but only picked up 14 yards on his eight carries agasint the Seahawks this week.  He did catch five passes for 44 yards but also lost a fumble.

Jeremy Hill-Cincinnati Bengals: Andy Dalton’s loss and playing from behind left very little to no work for Jeremy Hill who did get seven carries but only finished with 16 yards on the ground to go with eight yards on two catches.

C.J. Spiller-New Orleans Saints: Spiller was expected by some to pick up more work with Mark Ingram out for the season, but he only managed two yards on three carries and seven yards on three catches.  While his touches went up a little, it’s hard to count on anything from Spiller going forward.
