Round 3: OLB Su’a Cravens

There’s no doubt that the Arizona Cardinals will draft heavy on the pass rushing side in the draft. That means doubling up and adding as many young pass rushers as possible that can help a team that struggles to get pressure on the quarterback. One of the talented early-to-mid-round prospects in the draft is Su’a Cravens the outside linebacker from USC. While Cravens won’t leave for the draft unless he is a first-round pick, the thought of leaving for the NFL could certainly sway his mind, even if he doesn’t become a first-round pick. Many see him in the third round, and this would be excellent value for Arizona in the third round.

With Markus Golden and Alex Okafor on the roster already, Cravens could be another raw talent that the team could add to the roster. He might not have the talent of a Shilique Calhoun, but the speed and potential is there. In a situation like Arizona, he might not get a lot of playing time right away, but if he works hard and pushes himself he will get his shot to make his mark on the field. He’s a team player, and that’s the type of player that the Cardinals love, as they love competitors that will work to give it their all.
