Boston Celtics announcer Tom Heinsohn was not happy with LeBron James asking for calls from the refs.

Tom Heinsohn has never been afraid to call it like he sees it on the court. While the legendary Celtics announcer has been calling the team for some time, he’s also been known to get a little animated and over the top at times.

With LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers in town on Tuesday, there was animosity in the air with the two teams having some bad blood from their previous playoff meeting. The Cavaliers rolled to a win behind James and his strong performance, but Heinsohn wasn’t happy with the way James was getting calls or in his mind, the way James was “crying” for calls.

He went as far as to even use the word “crybaby” when referring to James.

While James gets the superstar calls, he’s always going to have people that don’t like him, as that comes with the territory of being one of the best to ever play the game.

The thing about James crying for calls is that he’s far from the only player that does it. The league has become one that is built around players getting upset when they don’t get calls that goes their way.

It’s just that it’s Boston and James is in town.
