High Salary G

Roberto Luongo-Florida Panthers ($7,800): The veteran goalie had been hot with four straight wins before suffering though a four-game winless stretch. However, he righted the ship on Tuesday, stopping 33 of 34 shots against the Islanders. Tonight he gets the Devils, who can be surprisingly tough at times. They are, however, ranked 24th in goals per game, making Luongo a good play for you in net tonight.

Henrik Lundqvist-New York Rangers ($8,100): Lundqvist got back in the win column on Tuesday night by making 18 saves against Edmonton. He now has a record of 15-6-3 and is consistently one of the best goalie options available. New York’s opponent, Minnesota, has been good on offense this year, ranking 8th in goals scored per game, but don’t get scared away. It’s tough to argue against Lundqvist, so pay the money and hope the top netminder shows up.

High Value G

Martin Jones-San Jose Sharks ($7,100): Jones plays on a talented team that’s unfortunately fallen on hard times lately. The Sharks had a six-game losing streak before picking up a win Tuesday night. Jones has been inconsistent so far with 13 wins and 10 losses. However, he’s the main netminder and gets the majority of starts, making him a good play on nights with a favorable matchup. He’s been good over his last two games, allowing just two goals and picking up a win. Tonight he gets the Maple Leafs and their 28th ranked 2.2 goals a game average. Jones should be a top target in net tonight.

Anders Lindback-Arizona Coyotes ($6,300): Lindback is a pure speculative play tonight, but with a ridiculously low salary he’s worth taking a chance with. He got shelled for five goals against the Hurricanes in his last game. However, in the game before that he made 27 saves on 28 shots to beat Minnesota. Tonight he gets the Columbus Blue Jackets, a team ranked 26th in the league in goals scored per game. If you spent big on offense you’ll have to take Lindback and hope it pays off.
