Future MLB players need to learn from Rose’s actions

Over the years, there have been countless names that will come to mind with a negative slant toward their personal or professional lives within the confines of the baseball diamond. Over the past quarter of a century, some of these names are Alex Rodriguez, Barry Bonds, Roger Clemens, Mark McGwire, Rafael Palmeiro or Sammy Sosa. Yes, they could all hit the ball and play with high caliber talent and are all hoping at some point to be included into baseball’s shrine.

Future stars that are lucky enough to come into the game need to learn from Rose’s actions. They may only play a few seasons and leave the game gracefully. They may come into the game and have just as long a career as Rose and hit many home runs or steal bases like Rickey Henderson did during his illustrious career.

We are still awaiting a stand to be taken against the players that were involved in the PED substance case.

However, keeping Rose out of the game is a plus because it shows young players currently in the game as well as prospects hoping to wear a professional baseball uniform that you cannot live a double life and not expect actions for your stupidity.

However, if these future stars do have a lengthy career and are lucky enough to remain in the game as a professional manager of a ball club, Rose’s actions should show future managers that they can take a team to the World Series annually and win championships and become a dynasty team. However, if you bet on baseball you will have cooked your goose as being recognized as some of the game’s greatest managers.
