Here are the playoff scenarios for the Carolina Panthers following Week 15.

The Carolina Panthers survived a late comeback from the New York Giants to remain undefeated and improve to 14-0. The Panthers came into Week 15 with the NFC South division and a first-round by already clinched.

What the Panthers were playing for in Week 15, aside from perfection, was the No. 1 seed in the NFC which brings home-field advantage throughout the playoffs with it.

The only team that can challenge the Panthers for the No. 1 seed are the Arizona Cardinals, who are 11-2 entering Week 15. The Cardinals play on Sunday Night Football on the road against the Philadelphia Eagles and if they win the Panthers’ claim to the top seed is still contested.

If the Eagles defeat the Cardinals on Sunday Night Football, it would effectively clinch the No. 1 seed and home-field advantage.

Either way, it is hard to believe that the Cardinals could catch the Panthers. The Panthers would have to lose the final two games and the Cardinals need to win their final three to just finish the season tied at 14-2, then it would come down to tie-breakers.

Either Wild Card team is looking like a tough match up and right now it would be either the Minnesota Vikings or Seattle Seahawks depending on how the rest of Week 15 plays out.
