Sunday’s game against the Houston Texans and Indianapolis Colts was about everything you’d expect for two sub-.500 teams battling for AFC South supremacy in Week 15. The game was rather sloppy, with both teams slinging the ball around without much traction.
The biggest storyline to come out of the game was the parade of backups’ backups. T.J. Yates went down early in the contest, meaning that Brandon Weeden made another appearance with a Texas team this year. And then, in the fourth quarter, Clipboard Jesus came into the game after Matt Hasselbeck took a hard shot and was thrust to the ground.
End of the day: this was not the s–tshow you signed up for. The AFC South is burning and there’s no fire hydrant in sight.

Charlie Whitehurst: Clipboard Jesus dusted off the rust and saw some legitimate action on Sunday. Bravo.
Brandon Weeden: For staying alive in the NFL and finding a way to get into another game in the year of our lord 2015.
Indianapolis Colts mascot: Blue was delivering cheer all across Lucas Oil Stadium on Sunday. While things were gruesome on the field; there was a showering of love off of it.
