QB Studs

Cam Newton-Carolina Panthers: Newton kept the Panthers undefeated and probably kept his fantasy owners alive in the playoffs with a big game against the Giants. He threw for five touchdowns and 340 yards while adding 100 yards rushing for a monster game.  He did lose a fumble, but he tore up the Giants for most of the game.  Cam led a game-winning drive, and the Panthers moved to 14-0 on the season.

Eli Manning-New York Giants: On the other side of the Giants-Panthers matchup, Eli threw for four touchdowns while completing 29 of his 46 passes for 245 yards.  He threw an interception, but his overall numbers were very solid even though his team ended up three points short of Cam and Carolina.

Ben Roethlisberger-Pittsburgh Steelers: Big Ben came up large in the Steelers comeback win over the Broncos completing 40 of his 55 passes for a total of 380 yards with three touchdowns and two interceptions.

Blake Bortles-Jacksonville Jaguars: Bortles threw for a touchdown and 297 yards against the Falcons while adding a song score on the ground while running for a total of 44 yards.  He did throw an interception, but it was a good day overall for Borles and his owners.

Philip Rivers-San Diego Chargers: Even with no offensive line and hardly nay receivers, Rivers ended up with 311 yards and three touchdowns.  Rivers did throw two picks, but he had a solid game overall despite coming to the end of a lost season.

Tom Brady-New England Patriots: While it wasn’t his finest game of the year, Brady was solid completing 23 of 35 passes for 267 yards.  He threw two touchdowns and no interceptions in New England’s comfortable win over the Titans.
