RB Studs

David Johnson-Arizona Cardinals: Johnson was the top running back of the day by a wide margin running for three scores while racking up 187 yards on his 29 carries.  As if that wasn’t enough, Johnson also chipped in four catches for 42 more yards in a monster game that was a big win for the Cardinals and continued his emergence as a legitimate #1 running back in Arizona.

Matt Forte-Chicago Bears: It was a quiet day for running backs overall, but Forte had a solid day for the Bears doing most of his damage as a receiver out of the backfield.  Forte finished with six catches for 57 yards and a touchdown while adding 47 yards on his eight carries.

Devonta Freeman-Atlanta Falcons: Freeman reminded us all of his breakout earlier this season with a solid game agasint the Jaguars.  He totaled only 56 yards on his 26 carries but he did get into the end zone and also added 45 yards on seven catches.

Charcandrick West-Kansas City Chiefs: West ran for 76 yards and a touchdown on his 16 carries against the Ravens.  He added two catches for nine more yards in a solid game for the Charc attack.

Todd Gurley-St. Louis Rams: Gurley didn’t go off against the Bucs on Thursday Night Football but he had a good enough line to be one of the best RB of the week.  Gurley carried the ball 21 yards for 48 yards and a touchdown and added 31 yards on two catches.
