50. <p>The Detroit Lions are a rancid dumpster fire. Detroit won 11 games and made the playoffs last season, but things have come apart in a major way. After starting 1-6 this season, the Lions fired offensive coordinator Joe Lombardi and replaced him with something called Jim Bob Cooter. It has been nothing but a disaster all season, costing general manager Martin Mayhew his job.</p> <p>The Lions need to find some defensive stars, players like the ones they lost in the offseason in Ndamukong Suh and Nick Fairley. Getting inside linebacker DeAndre Levy back next year will be huge, but the Lions need something in the secondary as well.</p> <p>Detroit is without an offensive line or running game as well. The Lions are one of the worst rushing teams in the league because of a bad combination; slow running backs with bad blocking. Perhaps Ameer Abdullah can shoulder the future load, but that is a major leap of faith based off this season.</p> <p>Detroit is sitting at 4-9 and headed for a top-10 draft pick. It’s time to start building the foundation and maybe letting some high-priced veterans hit the market come March. It’s time to rebuild for Detroit once again.</p>. (4-9).
