59. <p>If you’re Dan Campbell do you even want to retain your job as head coach of the Miami Dolphins? This isn’t a rhetorical question. Would you, if you were Dan Campbell, rather remain head coach of the Miami Dolphins next year or take a top assistant position elsewhere around the league?</p> <p>Given the trash heap that’s mounding down in South Florida, you’d have to think Campbell might consider the latter. Yeah, the weather is nice in Miami, but with climate change, it’s an unseasonably warm winter. Plus, you can chill at the beach in the offseason.</p> <p>We’re (un)officially 10 games (the final two from this year, and first half of next season) away from Miami realizing it made a colossal mistake in signing Ryan Tannehill to such a large contract this past offseason. This week in Tannehill we saw a robust 216 yards against a Chargers team banged all to hell. It was a 20 yard drop from last week, but still 130 yards better than his 9-for-19, 86-yard output against the Ravens (yes, the terrible Ravens) two weeks ago. It’s a testament to just how bad the Dolphins are – just how far off the national register – that Tannehill isn’t being crucified in the press.</p> <p>Yeah, at this point Campbell would gladly take his walking papers and move to a place with some semblance of normalcy.</p>.
