Christine Michael-Seattle Seahawks (8.5%)

Michael has long tantalized fantasy owners with upside and raw talent, but he never got the chance to get much work behind Marshawn Lynch and Robert Turbin in Seattle.  Earlier this season, Seattle traded Michael to the Cowboys where he was scooped up by owners who saw him ultimately getting the job from Joseph Randle.  While Randle did lose the job, it wasn’t to Michael who was ultimately cut by Dallas.  At the same time, Seattle found Thomas Rawls to fill in for an injured Marshawn Lynch, but they were ready to scoop up Michael last week when Rawls was lost for the season to an ankle injury.

Michael finally got his chance to shine (at least a little) on Sunday sharing time with Bryce Brown and Fred Jackson.  Michael led the way, though, with 16 carries for 84 yards.  He will remain a part of the committee this week against the Rams as the Seahawks wait for “Beast Mode” to return to health.

Michael should get a big enough workload to merit flex consideration this week against the Rams, but he isn’t going to get all the backfield to himself.  I like him as a solid pickup with upside, but I like Artis-Payne and Powell a little more as waiver wire plug-and-play options.
