As for the NBA in general, the league will want for a great Finals matchup featuring Golden State versus either the Cleveland Cavaliers in a rematch, or a large market team with a high-profile like the Chicago Bulls or Miami Heat. How things have gone in the first quarter of the season, it is a good bet that the Warriors will position themselves for a return trip to the NBA Finals. The road will not be as easy as it was when they won the title last season.

Most people expect the San Antonio Spurs to finally gel just in time to give the Warriors some trouble. Another team to watch for is the Los Angeles Clippers. They are one move and they have enough flexibility to make the necessary trade to be a factor when it’s matters most.

Last season the Warriors were the big story in the NBA, thus far they have had a carryover effect this year. The hot 24-0 start is the beginning of what could be one of the greatest seasons of all-time. On top of the NBA’s wish list is the continued rise of the Warriors.
