High Salary C

Sidney Crosby-Pittsburgh Penguins ($7,000): Crosby missed a game before the break with a minor injury but returned in a big way Saturday night. He scored a goal and dished out a helper in a win at Minnesota. He now has seven goals and 17 assists this year and five points in his last four games. Tonight’s opponent is Winnipeg and the Jets have not been good against centers, ranking 26th in fantasy points allowed.

Patrice Bergeron-Boston Bruins ($7,200): Boston’s top center is having a fantastic season  and should be in fantasy lineups on a daily basis. He recently had a seven-game point streak snapped after being shut out in back-to-back games but got back not eh scoresheet Saturday with an goal. Bergeron is rolling  with 33 points in 34 games and makes a great fantasy target tonight against Ottawa.

Nathan MacKinnon-Colorado Avalanche ($6,600): MacKinnon and the Avalanche haven’t played since December 21, so he should be well-rested for tonight’s matchup with Arizona. The Coyotes have not been good against opposing centers this season, making MacKinnon a strong fantasy option tonight He’s got 29 points this season and three points over his last four games. MacKinnon will save you a good amount of cap space over the other top centers, so plug him into your lineup and use the money elsewhere.

High Value C

Leon Draisaitl-Edmonton Oilers ($4,900): Draisaitl has been a big surprise this year and is showing very early in his career that he’s a reliable source of production. The young center has 30 points in 26 games and still makes for a good fantasy value pick with a salary under $5,000. He was held scoreless on Saturday but has four points in his last five games and looks to be set up for a solid game Sunday. The Calgary Flames are the worst team in the league against centers. Make sure you plug Draisaitl into your lineup.

Boone Jenner-Columbus Blue Jackets ($4,700): Jenner has been a solid source of fantasy production this year but he often gets overlooked, meaning a low ownership percentage is possible with him. He’s having a career year for the Blue Jackets with 21 points so far and currently has a two-game point streak and three points over his last four games. Tonight he’ll go up against Florida, a team ranked 16th against opposing centers.

Nazem Kadri-Toronto Maple Leafs ($5,100): Kadri hasn’t been playing particularly well this season for the Maple Leafs. Although he gets good ice time and shoots a lot of pucks at the net he has scored just six goals this season and has just 16 total points. However, he has been playing better as of late with a four-game point streak and five total points over that stretch. He’s got a reasonable salary and makes for a good sleeper choice tonight.
