The Jets were able to knock off the Patriots on Sunday thanks to this game-winning scoring strike.
Throughout the day on Sunday here in Week 16, the New York Jets were locked in a battle with the New England Patriots. At one point they held a 17-6 lead, but they let the Patriots back into this one and the contest was forced into overtime.
Now, while some might not admit it, they probably didn’t give the Jets much of a chance in the overtime period against the juggernaut that is the Patriots.
Well, they were wrong.
The Jets made sure that they took care of business quickly in the overtime period, putting this one to bed with this six-yard scoring strike from Ryan Fitzpatrick to Eric Decker.

This was an exciting one from start to finish, and with the way both teams fought throughout, it was only fitting that this one had an exciting finish like this.
Whenever these two get together for this AFC East rivalry, there are rarely any dull moments. Sunday was another example that this could still be one of the more exciting rivalries in the NFL.
