High Salary W

Gabriel Landeskog-Colorado Avalanche ($6,700): Landeskog is priced below the top options at winger but he has a good average of 3.5 fantasy points per game. He was held pointless Sunday but had a two-game point streak prior to that. He’s got five points in his last six games and is useful for fantasy lineups. Landeskog gets a good matchup tonight, as San Jose is ranked 22nd in fantasy points allowed to left wingers. Landeskog is a strong play for your lineup given both his price and potential for production.

Daniel Sedin-Vancouver Canucks ($6,700): Sedin is still a great choice for daily fantasy lineups and carries an affordable price tag. He has been producing at a rate of a  point-per-game with 37 points this year and is working on a three-game point streak. Tonight’s game with Los Angeles could prove tough, but Sedin is always a quality play when he’s on the ice.

Alexander Ovechkin-Washington Capitals ($8,700): Ovechkin is the highest-priced winger tonight and still averages nearly a fantasy point more per contest than the next guy. He’s been a bust in the last two games, something that tough to rebound from when you spend big money on a player in daily fantasy hockey. However, even when he has a dry spell, Ovechkin is never down long. He has 30 points this season and is capable of breaking out in a  big way on any night. If you wish to spend big money on offense, Ovie is the way to go.

High Value W

Tyler Toffoli-LA Kings ($5,700): Toffoli continues to put up solid numbers for the Kings with 14 goals and 11 assists through 34 games. He went into the holiday break with a two-goal game on December 22 and registered an assist on December 26. He enters tonight with points in two straight games and five points in his last five games. Toffoli is a great value pick for your lineup tonight.

Jarome Iginla-Colorado Avalanche ($4,600):  Iginla was listed as a value pick last night and he scored a goal in the loss to Arizona. He now has a three-game point streak and gets another good matchup tonight with San Jose, a team ranked 23rd in fantasy points allowed to opposing right wingers. Use Iginla again and hope for the same outcome.

Joonas Donskoi-San Jose Sharks ($2,800): San Jose’s young winger has put up 13 points in 29 games this season and has been on a hot streak lately with points in three of his last four contests. He has picked up three points in his last two games and will look to keep the point streak rolling tonight against Colorado. Donskoi has about the lowest price possible in daily fantasy hockey and can be a big sleeper for your lineup tonight. If he can manage a point he will be well worth the risk.
