High Salary G

Braden Holtby-Washington Capitals ($8,300): Holtby has finally rounded into the form that makes him one of the best, if not the best, goalie in the NHL. He leads the league with 22 wins and just stopped 29 of 30 shots in a win over Montreal on Saturday. The Capitals are red hot with seven straight wins and with Holtby playing the way he has, a matchup with Buffalo tonight makes him the top goalie target.

Henrik Lundqvist-New York Rangers ($7,800): Lundqvist got back into the win column in his last game before Christmas break after dropping three starts in a row. The Rangers, along with Lundqvist have been slumping recently and the King only has two wins in his last five games. However, he still has the ability to be one of the top goals in the league and gets a good matchup today with Nashville.

High Value G

Ben Bishop-Tampa Bay Lightning ($7,500): Bishop has been inconsistent this year with a record of 15-11-2. He has four wins in his last seven games gets to face a reeling Montreal team at home tonight. The Canadiens have lost six straight games and have plummeted from atop the Eastern Conference. Bishop was strong against Columbus when he stopped 30 of 32 shots on Saturday but he hasn’t won back-to-back games since the beginning of December. He looks to have a good chance to do so tonight and could be an important part of your fantasy lineup.

Devan Dubnyk-Minnesota Wild ($7,500): If you are looking for a goalie that might not be highly-owned, Dubnyk is the one to target. He has lost three straight starts and just gave up three goals in a loss to Pittsburgh Saturday. However, despite the losing streak, Dubnyk has put up some strong numbers at times this year. A tough game with Detroit awaits him tonight but he will make for a solid selection if he’s able to turn things around and get back into the form he has shown over the last year or so.
