NFL 2015: Team-by-team grades
Buffalo Bills
Grade: C-
What went right: Tyrod Taylor showed that he can play at a starting quarterback level. Taylor has been one of the more consistent players at his position this season, despite having little help around him with a hobbled LeSean McCoy and an inconsistent Sammy Watkins. Taylor threw 20 touchdowns against five interceptions while completing more than 62 percent of his throws.
What went wrong: Rex Ryan was brought in to give this team some swagger, but perhaps he went overboard. Ryan is leading the most penalized team in the NFL and the organization is reportedly coming apart at the seams, with a supposed rift between Ryan and general manager Doug Whaley. Buffalo also lacked a good pass rush despite some of the best front-seven players in the game.
Offseason expectations: Mario Williams is likely gone and perhaps Ryan will be out the door with him. Buffalo has to be looking to improve the offense, looking for another wide receiver to pair with Watkins. Also, the Bills will have their first-round pick for the first time in two years, and perhaps it is time to give the offensive line some help on the right side. Expect plenty of moves to be made.
