Defensive End. Oklahoma State. Emmanuel Ogbah. 9. player. 48.
After taking Jameis Winston with the first overall pick prior to this season, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have taken a big step forward in being relevant in the NFC South once again. While they won’t reach the playoffs this year, they took all the right steps in reviving a franchise that hasn’t won a playoff game since Jon Gruden led them to a Super Bowl in 2002.

They have two capable receivers in Mike Evans and Vincent Jackson and running back Doug Martin has rebounded after a terrible season last year. The next step for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers is to build a strong defense. While they have done well defending against the run, they need to make some serious upgrades in their pass rush. They’ve only managed to sack the quarterback 34 times this year, which leaves them in the bottom half of the league.

Finding an effective pass rusher is priority number one in Tampa Bay. The Buccaneers go with Oklahoma State defensive end Emmanuel Ogbah. The young defensive end has 22.5 sacks in his last two years for the Cowboys and will be a dominating presence coming off the edge for Tampa Bay. In his breakout game back in 2014, he sacked a guy named Jameis Winston twice and deflected two passes.
