Safety/Linebacker. USC. Su'a Cravens. 20. player. 55.
The Pittsburgh Steelers could have crumbled with all of the injuries they suffered on offense, but they were able to fight through them and make a run at a Wild Card berth. The combination of Ben Roethlisberger, Antonio Brown, Le’Veon Bell and Martavis Bryant can be a deadly one and when they are all healthy they are the best offense in the NFL. Even with Le’Veon Bell out for the year, DeAngelo Williams carried the offense and was a dominating running back.

Now the defense on the other hand is not even close to the level this offense is operating at. They’re mediocre at best and they are desperate for help in the secondary and at linebacker.

With Su’a Cravens from USC, you get help in both departments. He’s an extremely versatile athlete who can play either outside linebacker or safety, so Pittsburgh can utilize him in a lot of different schemes.

He’s strong in run defense and can make some strong open field tackles, but he does have a tendency to leave his feet. That can spell trouble if you have a flag happy crew or a running back who can bounce his way around the field. The versatility is just too good for Mike Tomlin and company to pass up.

Previous Pick: Andrew Billings, NT
